DESCRIPTION:The Dike is open for business and we are excited to announce that Red Fish Reach will be making a grand return.

 For those who have not done this race it is a beach start off of the dike\, a lap around Red Fish Island and back.&nbsp\; On Sunday we will typically do another lap or set up some bouys for windward leewards.&nbsp\; This is probably the most fun event a cat sailor can enjoy.&nbsp\; Permits are being obtained to allow us to not only camp on the Dike\, but to also have a bonfire\, a true TCDYC tradition.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;

DESCRIPTION:This is a small trip designed to get some friends together and maybe make new ones! Any size boat is welcome and there is no rush to get there! I have charted a 60 mi course one way starting from Conn Brown Harbor\, Aransas Pass\, TX out to Port Aransas\, TX then stay in gulf close to shore 1-2 mi for about 50 nm till matagorda island tip. Pelican Point turn left and there is an old WWII abandoned airfield and camping ground that is really neat to stay at.

DESCRIPTION:Port Arthur Yacht Club has extended an invitation to the cat sailing community for a social event on Saturday August 6th 2011. We will have a no frills distance run on Sabine Lake that Saturday. The Beer Tasting Hot Wings social is at 4PM\, you should bring your own favorite beer for tasting and some wings to throw on the pit. Free camping and ice will be available at the clubhouse along with hot showers. I will post more details as I get them\, we are only an hour&nbsp\;drive from East Houston.
