Surfside Bonfire "Dike Style"

The first social event of the year has been planned.  Come join the Texas City Dike Yacht Club at the 10 mile spot for a bonfire Dike style.  Bring your friends and bring your family.  Bring your wife or bring your girlfriend.  Bring both of them if you dare.  There might even be some fire jumping.  If you have any wood you want to burn bring it on out.  Still have that Christmas tree laying around? bring it out!  Got an old couch you need to git rid of?  Come sit on it, and then throw it in the fire.  Flaming to begin at or just after dusk.  We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Fri or Sat?

I heard tell that this was "envisioned" at the quarterly envisioning meeting as flaring up on Friday night? Yet the date posted is that of Saturday. Flame it up!

Is it a feature or a bug that allows the event to have two completely separate comment threads?

Most definately Saturday the 6th.  The two seperate threads are the result of me creating an event and then posting it on the forum section to help with visibility.

10-mile spot

I just talked to Collin...he's there! Near four condos betweent the highway and the water; there's a billboard with a couple flags that might say "Public boat ramp". See y'all at the beeeotch!
